Festival Overview

Radhastami is one of the most sacred festivals in the Vaishnava tradition, celebrating the divine appearance of Srimati Radharani, the eternal consort and supreme devotee of Lord Krishna. This auspicious day falls on the eighth day (Ashtami) of the bright fortnight of Bhadrapada month.

The festival is marked by special prayers, kirtans, discourses on Radha-Krishna lila, and elaborate decorations of the temple. Devotees observe fasting and engage in intense devotional practices to receive the blessings of Srimati Radharani.

Radha Abhishek

Special Prasadam

Preparation of 56 varieties of delicious vegetarian food items as an offering to Radha-Krishna, symbolizing the 56 different tastes and emotions of divine love.

Continuous chanting of sacred mantras and singing of devotional songs glorifying the divine couple, creating an atmosphere of pure spiritual ecstasy.
